As his son living on the property and drinking the well water next to one of the 3 dump sights we have behind the business. I worry about the environmental impact of dumping construction, landscaping, farm, chemical, and household wast. Dad tells me its legal because its his land and people pay him to dump on our land. its all part of his business. Some of the construction workers help with the burring of trash on the property as a form of payment to dump there. I have seen chemicals pored on the ground near water ways. Some times you can see a shinny layer on top of the ponds and dead fish. We regularly dump old pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, old diesel and gas from our company and construction and landscapers dad knows. The business is a landscaping store in the front with dumps behind the business. There are at least 3 dump sights on the property people pay us to dump in regularly. Now Im having liver and kidney health problems and my dr wanders if our well water is safe to drink.Could it be all the treated lumber and construction wast we bury near our well water? I know dad is making money and his friends are happy to dump anything and hide it with a bulldozer. I dont know if its safe. I think its making me sick. 230 Watsons Nursery Ln Sanford NC 27330 |
