DETAIL DESCRIPTION
On January 20,2011, at approximately 1:16PM , (Thursday)I was driving North-bound on Rossmore Street at 3rd Avenue,(Los Angeles,CA 90028), behind a Silver colored Chevorlet Malibu, when I observed trash being thrown from the passenger-side window onto the ground,in the presence of an approximately(85) year old Asian woman standing at the bus stop, at that location. I wrote down the vehicles license plate number and retrieved the discarded trash. I went to Hollywood Police Station, and spoke to LAPD Police Sargent Lazano, and showed him the trash:Hamburger wraper;un-eaten French-Fries and their paper container;Napkins; Straw-wraper and cardboard box. There was a trash can at the bus stop, and it appeared to be trash collection day, as residential trash can lined the entire street. The location of this instance of littering is an exclusive enclave of multi-million dollar homes and there is a private school at this intersection. It is my hope that a clear and decisive message is sent to the occupant(s) of this vehicle that this type of conduct is not appreciated or welcomed.
