DETAIL DESCRIPTION
During the early evening of Wednesday, May 6 at 6:15, I was returning home after work. I was behind a dark grey newer model Ford Fiesta on E. Harlan Drive, in Terre Haute, IN 47802. Just past MidWest RV (at 2101 E. Harlan Drive) someone opened a window in the vehicle and threw out trash. A short distance later the vehicle was stopped at the train tracks closest to Hwy 41 which cross E. Harlan. I left my vehicle and approached the offenders. When I tapped on their window they opened it and I asked if they were aware of the fine for littering. Both ladies in the car assured me that they were aware of the fine. They did not offer to go back and pick up their trash. I showed them my phone and informed them that I had their plate number. After waiting 6-7 minutes for the track to open, the ladies proceeded on their way east down E. Harlan Drive. |
