DETAIL DESCRIPTION
Woman waiting in car in the parking lot of Susitna Elementary School threw trash out her window. I walked over and picked it up and dropped it in her lap and said you dropped this. She threw the litter out the window again. I picked it up and put them in her lap and told her not to litter. She threw it out a third time so I picked it up and threw it in the back seat. She then threw trash out the passenger side window. A second witness went over and picked the litter up and put it in back in the womans car. As the woman was driving out of the parking lot she stopped, looked at me and again threw trash out, smiled and drove off. I stopped by the police department to report it and they said they couldnt do anything about it, even though there were two witnesses. I thought it was against the law to litter! Alaska Statues says it is illegal, perhaps our police department should read the statues! |
