DETAIL DESCRIPTION
We receive the fyi Jacksonville every Tuesday in our yard. We dont subscribe to the TU in any way and do not want this paper. Every Tuesday, I politely call Jason Green (904-751-0314) at the TU and ask to be removed from the delivery list. He is very nice and tells me he will make sure it is taken care of. Its been two months of calling weekly and it has yet to be taken care of. These things litter the neighborhood, get soggy, and go down the gutters, etc. I know Im not the only one in my neighborhood who is bothered by this with the same experience and results.
Jacksonville has a ZERO TOLERANCE LITTER LAW. I will be heading down city council meetings, reporting each occurrence on litter-bug.org, in addition to filing complaints on coj.net. I may also take every paper thats dropped in my yard and return it to the front yard of the TU. I will be writing letters to your editors and calling Ken On Your side. If you see this message, I am still getting the paper! |
