DETAIL DESCRIPTION
The neighbors in Kenna Court, Chantilly, never really close their trash and recycle waste bins when they put them into the street. And they sometimes put overflow waste next to their trash bins. For two years now all the other neighbors around their street have this flying-around waste in their yards. We continuously must pick it up and have kindly asked several times for them to take care with their waste. But their answer is they dont care and its not their problem if the wind blows their trash in our yards. There are inline skates boxes, milk cartons, pampers, old filters, drawings from their kids, letters, billing statements and Fidelity statements flying around. Stuff which definitely shows to whom it belongs. But the answer is always the same. We have a little creek here where most of their waste blows into and pollutes. And for sure they dont join the clean up group. I would love to put up a sign but our HOA doesnt allow it, at the end i am even not sure if they can read, as they ignore all the other street signs, especially the STOP sign, too. I know that the wind is under no ones control but if we tell them to take care and secure the bins or put something heavy on it so nothing flies around or at least collect it afterwards, and they ignore it, its willingly destroying the environment and the neighborhood relationships!!! They never pick their own stuff up, they wait until it blows away into other neighbors yards or the little creek and it becomes someone elses problem. If only they would set a better example for their kids and show respect for other neighbors and the environment! |
