DETAIL DESCRIPTION
On my way to work, I was in traffic on Colonial Drive SW 160 street and 95th avenue. The driver in the car described below was in the left lane and I was in the right lane almost parallel the driver. As the light changed to proceed to US1 heading North, the Driver threw a lit cigarette butt onto my car windshield. I was extremely scared that the car would caught fire. Once I turned on to US1, there was a traffic light on red next to Burger King on US1. I was able to stop and I immediately removed the smoking/lit cigarette from my car. windshield. I was very nervous and scared. When I got to work, I told my co-worker about the incident. I then went to the bathroom to wash my hands. I looked on the internet and I found this link. I am submitting this report with the hope that contact will be made with the driver so that this incident does not occur again. |
