DETAIL DESCRIPTION As I was settling down to dinner a loud persistent racket began to annoy me. Investigating the source of the noise I was infuriated to discover that a group of kids had decided that the dumpster was an appropriate place to conduct hooligan business. Stepping onto my balcony I was easily able to hear numerous vulgarities spewing from their virgin lips. In addition to this, they appeared to be play fighting in an attempt to impress the girl they had towed along (I was able to count 5 individual hooligans in total). Now, you may be wondering where the littering part comes in, and rest assured I have not neglected this unsavory detail, which I will now present.
With a large *crack* and ensuing cheers this neighborhood riffraff proceeded to demolish a properly discarded chair and strew its remains about the surrounding grass and cement walk area. TO add further insult to injury, they also threw mail (of unknown origin) all about the same area. After they had had their fun, the clearly immature minors walked worriedly away from the scene of their crime swearing sh%# at what one can only presume was the thought of being discovered prematurely at the site of their mayhem. I had unfortunately not perceived the full extent of the damage until they had hurriedly left. On a positive note, I was unable to find them littering in the rest of my community which did not surprise me. As one might have noticed in the title, ...Hooligans STRIKE AGAIN earlier this year I had observed the three core members of the group climbing on top of the car port and throwing rocks at several cars (including my own). While that situation was resolved due to quick action on the part of the leasing management, it was interesting to note that only one hooligan actually lived in the neighborhood, albeit on the other far side of a decent sized community. I can only hope I am quick enough to insure the proper authorities are notified the next time I see this occurring, as the thought of properly discarded waste being needlessly thrown about on the whim of some misfit punks both saddens and fills my heart with rage. |
